Venue

We'll meet at the end of Canyon Dr. (off of Franklin Ave., near Los Feliz Blvd. Hollywood). Canyon Dr. is a residential street. As you drive near the end, either park on Canyon Dr. or park in several of the open free parking lots alongside the road. There will be many hikers/walkers/joggers doing to the same.

A 6.4 Mile Hike to the Hollywood Sign

Terrain/Weather/Safety:

Footwear: Hiking or running shoes recommended.
The route is a wide dirt path/fire road and moderately strenuous. If you have a medical condition that limits your physical abilities, this may not be for you. Participate at your own risk.
Weather - If it's raining, we'll postpone for another date. If it's Hot, come dressed appropriately.
Bring a water bottle and/or small pack with whatever suits your needs (sunscreen) and appetite.
If it's too strenuous, you can turn around at any point.
