Dr. George Brogmus, PhD, CPE, Senior Risk Control Consultant, Epic Insurance Brokers & Consultants
Event Details:
Technology moves at a blinding pace and wearable technology is no exception. In occupational safety, the challenge becomes discerning if a certain wearable will be cost-effective in reducing risk versus just the latest shiny thing that diverts attention from proven risk reduction. During this lunch and learn we'll describe the key things to look for (and look out for) when it comes to wearable technology. We'll identify the features of successful introductions of wearables in the workplace. We'll also look at what's happening with some of the emerging technologies that hold promise, including exoskeletons and fatigue detection.
