Bio:

Scott graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1991 with Bachelor of Arts Degrees is Political Science and History. Scott has also obtained his Associate in Risk Management designation, and is one of the first class of RIMS-CRMP designation holders. Scott has thirty-one years of experience in the Insurance and Risk Management Industry. He has held risk management positions in a number of industries, including transportation, multi-disciplinary engineering and construction, stevedoring, theaters, shopping malls, and property development and management. He currently is employed with Kilroy Realty Corporation, serving as their Vice President, Risk Management, where he is responsible for all matters risk management. Kilroy owns, operates and develops Class A commercial office buildings and mixed-use properties, and currently maintains a three-person Risk Management Department, which may continue to grow over time.

Scott currently is President of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chapter of RIMS, serving on the Board since 1999. He also serves on the Student Advisory Committee for the RIMS Society, as well as on Sompo's Client Advisory Council and Berkshire Hathaway's Client Advisory Board. He also serves on the Real Estate Client Advisory Council and Risk Management Advisory Panel for AIG. Scott also served on FM Global's Risk Management Executive Council for many years.

Education:

Scott earned his Bachelor Of Arts Degrees in Political Science and History from the University of California, San Diego in 1991. He has also obtained his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the IIA.
